Forge Roundup #1
Here's what's been happening over at The Forge. Great stuff, as always
Greetings, subscribers! I’m so happy that you’re part of the crew at The Forge.
I publish a few pieces—long and short—during the week and rather than send out an email every time I publish something, I plan to send out only one major piece via email, and then a round up like this one at the end of the week.
I’m doing it this way so that you don’t feel overwhelmed. But if you prefer to have new posts emailed to you throughout the week, drop a comment letting me know that.
So let’s get into the roundup, followed by a couple of very brief updates.

Worship, like Catholicism, just took the back seat in Ireland. A little liturgical firestorm broke out on X today after a 43-second clip from a homily went viral. What made it go viral? See below.
Article, and Segment Video

Justice Was Not Cancelled — It Was Crucified
Why God’s mercy does not erase justice — and how the Cross reveals the true cost of forgiveness. A 2-minute segment clip accompanies this article

Regarding Stoking the Embers
I still maintain StE and plan to write occasional pieces there. But for now my work will mostly be focused on The Forge, to get it off the ground.
In addition to Catholic commentary pieces, I’ll write occasional essays related to Catholic spirituality here at The Forge. Best of both worlds!
